Flinders Guides Presents …

FRTOA has partnered with the Department of Environment & Natural Resources to present Tourism Operators Information Day – part of FRTOA’s Flinders Guides program.

 

The Bounceback team through DENR would like to celebrate 20 years of achievements in theFlinders Ranges by working with tourism operators to learn about some of the projects and successes that can visitors can see in theFlinders Ranges.

DENR with FRTOA recognise the need for continuous knowledge improvement within tourism operators. This information day is about bringing people up to date with the latest in Bounceback interpretative signage and giving ideas on how to make the most of brochures and signage in the park.  There is new information about ApIs new signage in the park Apealena double page

The day will begin at 9am with a field trip to a revegetated site and then continue with talks from Lorraine Edmunds, Darren Crawford and some of the other rangers from Vulkathunha-Gammon Ranges NP and Flinders Ranges NP on:

• Environmental Improvements in the Flinders Ranges National Park
• Interpretive notes and signage around the Park, and
• Appropriate places for show and tell,

Lunch provided and catered for by the local ladies of Epicurean Tucker Box.  Please notify  if you have any specific dietary requirements.
